We will investigate preclinical and progression parameters of Parkinson’s disease. We will assess gait and sway parameters under convenient and challenging conditions in healthy elderly and in PD patients with a single body-worn sensor.

The PROactive project develops and validates PRO tools to investigate dimensions of physical activity that are judged as being essential by patients. After extensive validation our MoveMonitor was favourably chosen by the PROactive consortium to assess physical activity in COPD patients.

In this project a unique innovative system to support fall prevention in extramural care will be developed and tested.

This large scale project is targeting the development of a treatment plan based on state of the art disease management completed with education and on site training for COPD patients.

KNAP stands for Knee Arthritis Prevention: disease management supported by objective monitoring of physical activity and counseling.
